Website design

Website design services, built on your real content.

We design business websites for companies in Assam and across India. Every page is drawn at full size on your own copy, prices and photographs — not on placeholder text that flatters a layout it will never have to carry.

01 Scope

What website design
actually covers.

The visible part is the last part. Most of the work is deciding what each page has to do.

Website design is not the choosing of colours. It is the set of decisions made before anything is built: what each page has to achieve, in what order it makes its argument, and what the person reading it should be able to do next.

On a Vyomatrics project that produces a sitemap, a message hierarchy for every page, a layout system that holds from a 320-pixel phone to a wide desktop, and full-fidelity designs drawn on your real content. If one service description is three lines and another is thirty, we would rather find that out in design than during the build.

It also produces the parts nobody asks for and everybody needs later: a type scale, a colour set, spacing rules, and states for every interactive element. That is what lets a page added two years from now still look like it belongs, and skipping it is the most common reason a custom website design drifts out of shape.

You review pages, not abstractions. Nothing moves into build until the design is signed off at every width.

Remove the logo. If the site could belong to any of your competitors, the design has not done its job yet.

02 Included

Eight deliverables,
not eight adjectives.

Every item here is something you receive and can point at. How far each is taken depends on the package.

Sitemap and page structure

Every page the site needs, what each one is for, and where it sits in the navigation.

Message hierarchy

What each page says first, second and last — and, more usefully, what it leaves out.

Full-fidelity page designs

Every page drawn at final quality on your own content, at phone, tablet and desktop widths.

A layout and type system

Type scale, colour set, spacing rules and reusable sections, so the tenth page still looks like it belongs to the first.

Responsive website design

Each breakpoint designed deliberately. What moves, what stacks and what gets cut on a phone is decided, not discovered.

Interface and interaction states

Hover, focus, active, error, empty and loading — the states a customer otherwise finds for you, mid-purchase.

Enquiry and conversion paths

Where the enquiry starts, how few fields it asks for, and what the page says once it is sent.

Design handover

Source files, specifications and the reasoning, in a form the build can be made from — by us or by anyone else.

03 Fit

Who this is for.

A restaurant and a fifteen-partner firm do not need the same website. These are the briefs we see most often across Assam.

Restaurants and cafés
A current menu, correct hours, photographs that hold up on a phone, and a booking that takes two taps rather than five.
Clinics and healthcare
Consultation hours, practitioners, procedures and directions, findable in seconds by somebody who is worried and in a hurry.
Schools and coaching centres
Admissions dates, fee structure, faculty and results, laid out for a parent comparing three institutions in one sitting.
Professional services
Law, accountancy, consulting, architecture. Work bought on credibility, usually described in language nobody outside the firm can act on.

If you are not on this list the questions are the same ones: what is being bought, who decides, and what has to be true on the page before they will act.

04 Sequence

How a design
project runs.

Five stages, each ending in something you can read, review and sign off. Nothing moves forward on a verbal agreement.

  1. Discover

What the business sells, who buys it, and the single thing this site has to achieve. If we cannot state that in one sentence, we are not ready to design.

    Output Brief, objectives, success measures

  2. Structure

Sitemap, message hierarchy and scope, agreed in writing. The cheapest stage to change your mind in, and the one that keeps every later stage cheap.

    Output Sitemap, content plan, scope

  3. Direction

Art direction shown on a real page rather than a moodboard, so you are judging the thing itself. You choose one, we develop it.

Output Visual direction on a key page

  4. Design

Every page drawn at full fidelity, at every breakpoint, on your content. Two to four revision rounds depending on the package.

    Output Page designs, design system

  5. Build and launch

Signed-off designs go to development, then testing, deployment and handover. Design questions raised during the build come back to you.

    Output Live site, documentation, handover

The full six stages, what each one produces, and the commitments underneath them.

05 Cost

What website
design costs.

Four starting points, priced in public. What moves the figure is how many distinct layouts have to be designed.

Starting at ₹12,999 One-time

Design and build are quoted together, because separating them produces a design nobody can afford to build. Starter covers up to five pages; Business, Professional and Custom go further. A website redesign is priced from the same four packages. Landing pages start at ₹8,999.

What each package includes, page allowances, revision rounds and the maintenance plans.

06 Reach

Working with us
from anywhere in India.

Most of the businesses we design for are not in the same town as us. Almost none of them have needed to be.

Design is the part of this work people assume needs a room. It does not. It needs a fixed time, a link you can open yourself, and a written record of what was agreed.

A project runs the same way whether you are twenty minutes away or two thousand kilometres. The brief is taken on a scheduled video call rather than in a message thread at eleven at night. Scope, page count, revision rounds and price go into one document before any money moves. Designs go up on a link that opens on your own phone, so nothing is held back for a reveal at the end, and your comments come back on that same link rather than as a list somebody has to transcribe.

The usual objections to hiring a studio in another state mostly dissolve inside India. There is one clock, so a question asked in the morning is answered inside the same working day. Contract, invoice and GST are domestic, and payment clears without a remittance form. Photography is the one thing distance genuinely costs: we write the shot list and direct the shoot, you or a photographer near you take it, and nothing goes onto the site before we have seen it.

A design approved on a call nobody wrote down is not approved. That holds across a table as much as across four states.

The price does not move by pin code. There is no loading for distance and no quiet discount on the assumption that a business outside a metro expects less — the four packages on the pricing page are what everybody pays.

We design from Silchar, and the region around us has its own page, because building for it changes a few decisions.

07 Questions

Asked before
you ask them.

If something here is still unclear, say so in the enquiry — a straight answer costs us less than a misunderstanding does.

Common questions

One answer at a time.

  • One week on a Starter build, two to three on Business, four at most on Professional. Custom is scoped with a timeline before anything starts. The variable is rarely the design — it is how quickly content and feedback come back.

  • Your content, and one person who can approve it: copy, photographs, prices and service descriptions. We will tell you exactly what is needed and where, and we will say early if what exists is not strong enough to carry the site. Copy support is included from Business upward.

  • You do, once the project is paid for — the designs, the files and the site itself. The domain is registered in your name from the start rather than ours and stays your property, so it points wherever you decide.

Hosting is the part we take off your hands: it is fully managed by Vyomatrics, infrastructure and configuration included, so the technical side never becomes your job.

  • Yes, on the parts that are meant to change. We put a CMS behind the content that will move — prices, hours, posts, staff — and hand over with documentation and training. If your team would rather not run it, a maintenance plan does.

  • Yes, and a website redesign is an audit first. We keep what is performing, rebuild what is not, and migrate without losing the search equity you have already earned. Sometimes the honest answer is that three pages need rebuilding and the rest should be left alone.

    • Audit
    • Content mapping
    • Information architecture
    • Visual rebuild
    • Redirects & migration
  • Every layout is drawn at phone, tablet and desktop widths rather than designed wide and left to reflow. Most traffic to a local business website arrives on a phone, so responsive website design is decided at the same time as everything else.
